Pelham Manor's Trustees and Village Manager were honored to attend the annual Memorial Day parade and service, co-hosted by the Town of Pelham and American Legion Pelham Post 50. This year's Grand Marshal was Captain Deidre Thomas, a nurse and daughter of LTC Eli P. "Tim" Howard, one of the greatest athletes in Pelham Memorial High School history. LTC Howard lost his life in a second tour in Vietnam. Captain Thomas' sister, Lisa, also attended the meaningful event.

Earlier this weekend, the Police, Fire, and DPW departments participated in the Huguenot Memorial Church's vehicle event. It was a great time seeing community members out enjoying the beautiful weather. We hope residents had a safe celebratory weekend honoring those who serve our country.
