Residents are advised there will be thunderstorms passing through our area this evening, Saturday, April 1. The weather event is expected to pick up around 6:00 p.m. Some of the storms may be severe, strong winds and hail are possible. Residents should take precautionary measures to secure outdoor items.
There is potential for downed tree branches and power lines. If you lose power, notice must be given directly to ConEdison. You may report and monitor power outages through their mobile app, online, or by phone 1-800-752-6633. If you see downed electrical wires, do not go near them. Report any downed wires to ConEdison or the Pelham Manor Police Desk (non-emergency line) 914-738-1000.
We have carried out preparation measures today and our twenty-four hour emergency services teams are ready to respond.
