Mayor Lapey was honored to administer the oath of office to Lindsey M. Luft at Monday's Board of Trustees meeting. Ms. Luft has assumed the positions of Village Clerk and DPW Superintendent, in addition to Village Manager. Her dear friends (pictured below) supported her at the swearing-in.
Ms. Luft has already begun utilizing her strong managerial and interpersonal skills on site and will continue to work with John T. Pierpont during a transition period. In a touching moment, Pelham Manor resident Emily Pierpont Seal (pictured below with her brother, Andrew Pierpont) welcomed Ms. Luft and paid tribute to her father, Mr. Pierpont. Ms. Seal pointed to Mr. Pierpont's nearly 28 years of exemplary service and dedication to his position and the community.
