Boston Post Road - Final Phase of Paving Project
The final phase of New York State Department of Transportation's (NYS DOT) paving project on Boston Post Road (Road 1) will begin in the evening on Tuesday, November 14 and will consist of milling and paving the roadway. The operation will continue to take place between the hours of 9:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. as this has been the practice throughout the duration of the project. Residents are advised the task of milling and paving requires a substantial amount of machinery, lighting, and people.
We will see completion of this endeavor over the next few weeks. This type of paving project is an infrequent experience as the work product has a long-lasting useful life. Paving Boston Post Road has been in the works for a little over two years, and the project broke ground back in September, 2023. We are thrilled to see this come to fruition as our Village advocated extensively, with the support of our State elected officials, to achieve this action item for our community. We ask for your patience and understanding through the final stretch of this process!

Mobile Shredder
Pelham Manor will be hosting the Westchester County Mobile Shredder this Friday, November 17, from 10:00 am until 1:00 pm at the Spring Road Recycling Center. All residents are encouraged to mark their calendars and drop off any paper items they're looking to dispose of.
