The Village of Pelham Manor continues to support and facilitate restoration work in the parking lot at Four Corners, which is owned by Friedland Properties.
In recent weeks, Mayor Jennifer Lapey, Deputy Mayor Breda Bennett, and Village Manager Lindsey Luft have met on site repeatedly with Friedland ownership and management, as well as local business owners. The Village Manager and Building
Inspector Max Dao remain in regular contact with the Friedland organization to encourage full, proper restoration. Village efforts have also included advocacy with State elected officials and a variety of State agencies and public utilities, such as Con Ed.
Pictured here is Fire Chief Michael Greco, who today supervised the installation of the site's fire safety system. Chief Greco's expertise has been instrumental in facilitating restoration progress. Chief Greco recently completed NYS Code Enforcement classes and is now a certified Code Enforcement Officer, qualifying him to interpret all aspects of the State Building Code. Thank you for your exemplary work, Chief Greco!
