Village leadership remains in communication with the management company for the Four Corners property. We continue to advocate for restoration progress. Interior gas utility work was completed recently and the process for replacing the exterior gas service line is in final the stages of approval between ConEdison and the management company. Once fully approved through ConEdison, the plumbers will be able to move forward with the process. Village leadership has supported expiditing this process by engaging Assemblywoman Paulin's office, we have collabortaively communicated the situation to ConEdison. ConEdison has provided enhanced direct support for the management company to navigate this process.
In the meantime, the property management company has submitted full civil engineering plans that provide the vision for final restoration. The site will undergo some necessary adjustments as there is additional prep work for final restoration. This work will occur in tandem with the service line replacements. We continue to ask that visitors are mindful of the safety measures that are in place. Please leave all barricades, cones, and any other on-site equipment as they are. As the site is adjusted, it is imperative safety barriers are respected.
We continue to remind those involved the gravity this situation has imposed on our community as a whole. While there is still work to be done, we remain optimistic everyone involved wants this to be resolved. All business are operating during consturction! The best way to visit the shopping center is by walking, or utilizing nearby street parking.
