Pelham Manor Fire Apparatus

Engine 1

Engine 1 is a 2023 Pierce Fire Engine.  The PMFD received this vehicle in February of 2023 and replaced a 2004 Seagrave Engine.  This pierce engine is the departments primary attack engine for structure fires, car fires, car accidents and other incidents in the Village. The Captain and a firefighter staff this engine at all times.

Engine 2

Engine 2 is a 2001 Seagrave Fire Engine.  This engine is our second due engine to all emergencies and also on stand by for additional calls in our Village and it serves as our mutual aid engine.

Tower Ladder 3

Tower Ladder 3 is a first of its kind from Seagrave. This is a 75' mid mount Tower Ladder. The Tower and super structure were originally on a 1973 Mack body and chassis.  In 2008 Seagrave was approached by Pelham Manor to do a full re-chassis. The department wanted a tower ladder with a single axle due to our tight streets. Having the single axle gives easier mobility in making turns with a shorter swing.  Seagrave was able to design the truck using the old boom and new technology to create the first single axle mid mount aerialscope tower ladder.  The truck was delivered in November of 2009. Since Pelham Manor's truck was designed, Seagrave has built 4 additional single axle remounts for various departments around the country. The closest one is in Darien Ct.
