Services

The services provided by the Pelham Manor Fire Department include, but are not limited to, fire suppression, fire prevention, building inspections, plan review, fire investigations, public fire safety education, disaster management, rescue, hazardous materials initial response, and response to other emergencies as needed.

Accomplishing Objectives

We accomplish our objectives by taking the necessary steps to reduce the risk associated with fires by taking measures to prevent the outbreak of fires, by limiting the extent and severity of fires, by providing for the removal or rescue of endangered persons, by controlling and extinguishing fires within our jurisdiction, and by performing other emergency response operations.

Our organizational goal is to provide the aforementioned services in a timely and cost-effective manner with highest regard for quality.

Our Mission

The Pelham Manor Fire Department is committed to the protection and preservation of life, property, and the environment from the adverse effects of fire and hazardous conditions through prevention, education, suppression, training, and constant diligence

We are responsive to the needs of our residents by providing rapid and professional services essential to the health, safety and well-being of the Village. We also endeavor to protect and preserve health of our membership and to return or personnel safely
 to their families.

We actively participate in our community, serve as role models, and strive to effectively and efficiently use all of the resources at our command to provide the highest level of service to our residents.
